Sometimes in order to get rid of acne we prefer to stay away from using medications and the different types of soaps and other solutions for acne that cost us hundreds of dollars. It is true that at times we will have no other choice – but to use these treatments. However, until that time comes we decide to use home acne solutions in the hopes that they will have a better healing effect for us.

There are several home acne solutions that you can do and that have been said to work faster and more efficiently. Everything you need for these home remedies can be found at your nearest grocery store at an affordable price. Please remember that none of these treatments have been approved by the FDA and must be used properly. Keep in mind that some of these might not work.

  • Split the pimple open and place a cotton ball that has been soaked in warm salt water.
  • Apply honey to the pimples and leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes before rinsing it off.
  • Rinse your face and apply toothpaste. Leave the toothpaste on all night.
  • Apply egg white to the face and leave it on all night. You may have to do this for a few nights in a row.
  • Try combining egg whites and lemon juice to the acne to help remove the blemishes and help them to heal.
  • Rinse the infected area and apply cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Next place strawberry leaves on the pimples.
  • Certain home facial masks have also been said to work. One of the most common face masks is the combination of cornmeal pastes and oatmeal that have been mixed together in water.
  • Combine mashed up bananas, one tablespoon honey, and two tablespoons of sour cream.
